Bệnh viện Đa khoa Hồng Ngọc Phúc Trường Minh (Bệnh viện Hồng Ngọc Mỹ Đình) bắt đầu hoạt động khám, chữa bệnh từ 17/6.

Đây là sự kiện đánh dấu bước tiến mới của hệ thống y tế Hồng Ngọc sau 18 năm xây dựng và phát triển theo mô hình “bệnh viện – khách sạn”. Bệnh viện Đa khoa Hồng Ngọc Phúc Trường Minh là cơ sở thứ 7 thuộc hệ thống y tế Hồng Ngọc.

Tọa lạc tại vị trí cửa ngõ phía Tây thủ đô, bệnh viện gần các khu đô thị bậc nhất Hà Nội như: Keangnam Landmark Tower 72 tầng, The Manor, Mỹ Đình Pearl, Vinhomes Skylake… Với vị trí đắc địa về không gian, bệnh viện sẽ trở thành điểm đến mới về y tế cho người dân thủ đô.

Bệnh viện Đa khoa Hồng Ngọc Phúc Trường Minh xây dựng trên diện tích 2,5 ha, với 16 tầng nổi, 2 tầng hầm, 25 chuyên khoa, chuyên biệt hóa các tầng với từng chuyên khoa. Cơ sở thiết kế theo tiêu chuẩn HBN (Anh Quốc), đáp ứng mọi yêu cầu khắt khe nhất về chất liệu, màu sắc vật liệu, thông số kỹ thuật của cơ sở hạ tầng, đảm bảo đem đến những lợi ích tốt cho sức khỏe người bệnh.

Japanese chain retailer Muji opened its first store in Hanoi on Saturday after opening one in HCMC last November.
The store, which spans 2,000 square meters at Vincom Center Metropolis on Lieu Giai Street, is the second to be opened in Vietnam.

The flagship store in Hanoi provides around 5,000 products, ranging from fashion, cosmetics to household items, interior design and food.

Tetsuya Nagaiwa, Muji’s head of Vietnam business, said the chain spent two years searching for a suitable location for the Hanoi store, a much longer process compared to its HCMC endeavor.

The southern metropolis’s downtown District 1 is a no-brainer when it comes to choosing a location for a store. But Hanoi has multiple locations with different capacities for attracting customers, Tetsuya explained.

Vincom Center Metropolis was eventually chosen since it is in an area with a big Japanese population and is wide enough to host a large store.

Tetsuya said Muji’s current strategy is to take hold of Hanoi and HCMC, both major cities, to boost brand recognition. Afterwards, depending on factors like economic development and population, Muji would consider opening more stores in other cities.

Vietnam is among the world’s most promising retailer markets right now, Tetsuya said, adding the country has attracted a large number of investors thanks to its ever-growing economy and a young population with middle-class income.

Certain Muji products sold in Vietnam would be cheaper than other markets’ as they are produced by domestic manufacturers, he said, without revealing exact information regarding the domestic factories.

Muji, founded in 1980, has over 1,000 stores in 33 countries and territories.

據越通社報導，6月28日，越南科學技術翰林院表示，該院下屬化學研究所已成功研究出在實驗室合成新冠肺炎抗病毒藥物法匹拉韋（favipiravir）的新方法。

在越南科學技術翰林院的指導下，化學研究所開展了合成抗新冠肺炎抗病毒藥物的研究。經過一段時間的研究，該研究所已成功研究出一種在實驗室合成法匹拉韋的新方法。

法匹拉韋是一種與瑞德西韋作用機制相似的藥物，但它是口服給藥，最早用於對抗在武漢的新冠肺炎病毒。這種藥物是在疫情防控工作中對現有疫苗的重要補充，並已在意大利、日本、俄羅斯和其他一些國家投入使用。

今後，化學研究所的科學家將繼續完善和升級這種藥物合成的流程。

Vietnam has decided to shorten centralized quarantine time for fully vaccinated entrants from 21 days to seven, as the country plans to initiate a vaccine passport program.
Officials made the announcement at a meeting Friday between the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

It’s still not clear when the new quarantine period will be applied and if it will be limited to a number of destinations in Vietnam. But it is part of the country’s plan to trial the use of vaccine passports that allow foreigners to travel to certain destinations that have managed the novel coronavirus pandemic well.

Previously, on Tuesday, the tourism ministry and Kien Giang authorities had been requested to prepare a plan to receive foreigners to Phu Quoc Island in the southern province and submit it to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh next month.

The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control had already decided in April that three groups of entrants: vaccinated Vietnamese citizens stranded overseas; foreigners wishing to enter Vietnam for investment and business purposes; and international tourists would be eligible to use vaccine passports.The vaccine passport is currently envisaged as a digital document issued by the country where the vaccine has been administered.

Vietnam plans to receive people coming from countries that have managed Covid-19 outbreaks well, including those that have achieved herd immunity thanks to their vaccination programs. Such people will be able to visit tourist sites and resorts designated for their ability to control the flow of tourist traffic well and be able to manage guests’ itineraries efficiently and safely.

Vietnam closed its borders and canceled all international flights in March last year. Only Vietnamese repatriates, foreign experts, diplomats, investors, and highly-skilled workers have been allowed in since with stringent quarantine requirements.

Vietnam’s so-called mutant orchids are being turned into unique digital assets and being sold for up to thousands of dollars online.
On the digital goods marketplace OpenSea.io, hundreds of items are displayed when a user types the keyword “Orchidaceae.”

These items are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) which are units of data stored on a digital ledger called a blockchain that certifies a digital asset to be unique.

In other words, NFTs transform digital works of art and other collectibles into one-of-a-kind, verifiable assets that are easy to trade on the blockchain, and a person can now buy a digital orchid plant using cryptocurrency like Ethereum.

“The Hong My Nhan has glossy wings, harmonious pink color. Usually the sepals are a bit darker than the wings,” says the description of a piece of the orchid that costs $428.

These products are not real orchids. Instead the buyer will own a digital version of the plant which is guaranteed to be sold in limited number.

“Although the buyer won’t own the physical plant, he or she can still show off the orchid without having to take care of it,” said digital currency expert Phan Duc Nhat.

A Phu Tho orchid with an asking price of around $100 will have a maximum of 2,000 NFTs, while the more luxurious Co Do orchid with the asking price of $12,500 will only have 100 NFTs.

But so far the highest bid for such an NFT is only 0.2 Etherum, or more than $400.

The rush for the so-called mutant orchids has flooded social media in Vietnam in recent months, with investors spending hundreds of million dong (VND100 million = $4,340) to own a physical plant, hoping to sell it for a profit later.

Nanogen, the Vietnamese company which produces the Nanocovax Covid-19 vaccine, is seeking approval for its emergency use.

Barber shops and restaurants can start serving customers indoors beginning Tuesday, Hanoi authorities have announced.
They must comply with Covid-19 prevention guidelines, Hanoi vice-chairman Chu Xuan Dung said Monday.

The city requires restaurants to ensure social distancing between customers and have dividers between seats. Establishments can’t fill more than 50 percent of their seating capacity and have no more than 20 people in a venue at a time. They also have to close before 9 p.m. every day. Bar, pubs and draught beer venues are only allowed to sell takeaways.

The capital had shut down non-essential businesses and services starting April 29, beginning with karaoke parlors and bars, then restaurants and cafes and later, cinemas, gym and barber shops.

Tran Dac Phu, former head of the General Department of Preventive Medicine under the Ministry of Health, warned last Saturday that outbreaks were still happening in the country, and Hanoi could still be harboring infected cases within the community.

“The reopening process needs to be done carefully along with strict supervision, or we would return to square one,” he said.

Hanoi has recorded 465 local Covid-19 cases in Vietnam’s latest coronavirus wave, including 148 cases in two locked down hospitals.

Since April 27, Vietnam has recorded 10,078 community transmissions in 42 cities and provinces.

試點範圍從河東郡永旺購物中心至文溪快速公交車站，試點期限為2023年底，其後將在全市範圍內廣泛展開。

按計劃，該項目將使用兩種電動車，分別是本田（越南）公司製造的50輛PCX牌電動摩托車和QIQ公司製造的10輛電動助力自行車。

正在河東永旺購物中心、想坐快速公交車的人可通過手機應用程序填寫個人信息創建賬戶。其後，用戶可以在河東永旺購物中心借用兩輪電動車前往文溪快速公交車站，然後在這裡歸還車並乘坐快速公交車。

用戶也可以按照同樣的流程在文溪快速公交車站借用電動車前往河東郡永旺購物中心。

項目試點期間，用戶無需付服務費。項目經費由歐盟委員會和項目主管單位提供資助。

該項目的目的在於提高公共運輸服務質量，減少私家車出行數量，同時幫助市民養成使用綠色交通工具的習慣，提高其環保意識，進而緩解河內市交通擁堵和環境污染現象。
